The chaos

Does the chaos ever settle?

The mind is in a state of constant feud

Trying to make sense

In a tangle of emotions

Trying to break through

Jumping to conclusions brittle

Does the chaos ever settle?

With a roller coaster of feelings

In a whirl wind of reluctance

Mind and body rarely assemble

Gasping for peace little

Does the chaos ever settle?

Sitting on the fence of uncertainty

Pondering over ideas aplenty

Making vague assumptions about the hereafter

Knowing nothing, but assuming a little

Does the chaos ever settle?

The grass so green, the sky so blue

Simple yet awe inspiring, is the working of glue

So many realms of reality yet to behold

Deprived, hoping to make it big, a little

Does the chaos ever settle?

The gushing of blood, the beat of the heart

The failed, trying to make a new start

All said and done

The soul amidst a constant hustle

Does the chaos ever settle?
